michellew@vbcoastal.comI am Michelle Wikkerink, Director of Preschool Children’s Ministry at Glenwood Campus. I am a native of Virginia Beach, married to Jim Wikkerink, and we have 3 beautiful children: Alex (19), Breanna (19), and Cheyenne (8). We have been attending Coastal since Feb. 2006.
God started nudging me to work with His children and I started volunteering with the 2&3’s January 2007. My love for teaching children about God’s word is what has led me to where I am today. I love that we at Coastal offer “making more and better followers of Christ…” to all ages. Children are so precious to God and to watch them grow with Him in their hearts is so amazing! I have seen it start with the children and then reach their parents to provide a great Godly family bond. Here at Coastal we all come together to be families of God’s Kingdom.
