Hi, I’m Donna Brooks. Yes, I am Hank’s wife. Hank and I have been doing ministry together ever since we were teens in our own youth group. I had a passion for serving people even as a teenager. It was after serving as a volunteer at girl’s group home that I decided to study social work. I did my undergraduate studies at Asbury college in Kentucky and received my Master’s in Social Work from University of Louisville. After Hank and I were married and about four years in the ministry, God made it possible for me to retire from a formal paying job in social work. At that time I became a full time volunteer in the church and a full time mom. I was one of those room mother types…still am. Today our adult daughter lives in Nashville, Tennessee and is a freelance photographer and our son is a high school senior…and I am soooo proud of each of them. Watching God do His thing with them brings me more joy than almost anything.

Today at Coastal I serve as the volunteer interim campus-pastor at our Corporate Landing campus. It is my privilege to serve as the primary shepherd for the people attending this site. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping folks who are just beginning to check out the church, and\or God, feel okay with the idea of God and going to church. I also love helping people take the next step to experience a real and personal God. I truly feel it is an honor to serve in this capacity.
