Worship Service Preparation

Welcome people at name tag tables (45 minutes a week)

Set up refreshment table (30 minutes a week)
- Take down refreshment table (30 minutes a week)
- Serve refreshments prior to service (45 minutes a week)
Preschool Ministries
- Preschool Coastal Kids
(Birth – Pre-Kindergarten)
Bible-based program held Sunday mornings during worship. Greet and register preschool age children (45 minutes a week)
- Shepherd: Be part of team that teaches and ministers to a specific age group. Serve every other month. (2 hours a week plus team meetings and training as planned)
Children's Ministries
- Elementary Coastal Kids (Kindergarten – 5th grade) Bible-based program held Sunday mornings during worship. Workshop rotation model is used. Greet and Register children (45 minutes a week)
- Shepherd an age group Contact absent children and help with teaching. Serve every other month (2 hours a week plus one monthly Shepherds' meeting a month)
Children's Summer Ministries
- Camp Registration Team
Assist with the registration and greeting of children and adults for summer activities. Build relationships with parents while dropping off and picking up children.
- Coastal Connection Team
Assist with the registration and greeting of children and adults for summer activities. Build relationships with parents while dropping off and picking up children.
- Face Painters for Special Events
Painting faces for special events
Student Ministries
- Coastal Community Church Youth
(Students in 6th – 12th grades)
Shepherd: Become involved in the lives of middle and high school students. Share your excitement about the Lord, guide them in Bible study, and assist with fellowship activities. Provide snack for meetings (varies) Assist by providing financial scholarships, providing refreshments for meetings, transportation for outings. (varies)
Adult Ministries
- LIFE Group Leader
You and your spouse can lead a group focused on loving God, impacting others, finding time to play, and engaging authentically. There are options for men's groups, ladies' groups, groups for couples or families, and even groups for middle and high schoolers! Make phone calls for special occasions, Shop for supplies for various teams, Plan and Coordinate special events (i.e. Fresh Start Reception), Provide financial contributions for special scholarships

Join others on Thursday mornings about 10:00 a.m.for a time of fellowship while folding weekly bulletins for Sunday worship, collating materials for Coastal C.L.A.S.S.es (monthly activity), folding and labeling newsletters (monthly activity). We'd love to see you on Fridays, and if your schedule allows other days during the week, please call (757-233-1293) and see if there is something you can do!
- Business Table Volunteers
If you can write receipts and enjoy working with people, we need you to accept payments at the Business Table for special events, book and apparel sales. Time is 10:15 - 10:45 a.m. and 12:00 noon to 12:15 p.m. on Sundays. Volunteers work each Sunday for one month. Please call Dawn at 757-233-1293 to be added to the rotation list.
