Fuse (Young Adult Ministry)

At Coastal, the young adult ministry (fuse) operates within a network of Oikos (Greek for family) groups throughout the city. These Oikos groups range in size from 20-70 people, and are built around a mission, be it for a particular people group, a geographical section of Hampton Roads, or another community need. If you are new to Coastal or would like to get involved for the first time, we would encourage you to shop around the different Oikos groups to find the one that fits best for your schedule and more importantly the way God has wired you. Each Oikos meets in the community on monthly rhythm that is described as follows:

Week 1: IN

Oikos meets as a large group and focusing on building family relations. During this time, the members eat together, pray together, and play together.

Week 2: UP

Okios does not meet as a large group. Individuals are encouraged to abide and spend time with God. This is also a week where small groups may meet.

Week 3: IN

Oikos meets as a large group and focusing on building family relations. During this time, the members eat together, pray together, and play together.

Week 4: OUT

Oikos members meet and serve the community or people group they are built around.
