Spiritual Gifts Assessment
This material is designed to help believers be fruitful and fulfilled in a meaningful place of service at Coastal Community Church. The following two assessments will help you understand more about who God made you to be and how you can make a unique contribution that will make a difference for eternity.
The first assessment will help you identify your Spiritual Gifts. This instrument indicates WHAT special gifts God has given you to serve Him.
The second assessment will indicate your Passion, a God-given desire that compels you to make a difference. These questions indicate WHERE you are best suited to serve.
Learning WHAT your gifts are and WHERE you are best suited to serve is an essential first step to finding a fulfilling, meaningful place of service for Christ’s cause at Coastal.
Directions to Spiritual Gifts Assessment
Respond to each statement on the Spiritual Gift Assessment pages that follow, according to the following scale:
3=Consistently, definitely true
2=Most of the time, usually true
1=Some of the time, once in a while
0=Not at all, never
Once you have completed the assessment, click “Submit”, and we will send you the results along with a scoring sheet for you to print out. Using the scoring sheet, write your response to each statement in the block whose number corresponds to that number statement in the Spiritual Gift Assessment.
Important: Answer according to who you are, not who you would like to be or think you ought to be. How true are these statements of you? What has been your experience? To what degree do these statements reflect your usual tendencies?
All question are required to be answered so if when you click “Submit”, it will ask you to scroll up and correct the problem highlighted in red. Unfortunately, at this time, if you close your browser before completing, your answers will be lost and you will have to start over, so it is best to allow yourself enough time once you start, to complete each assessment. You can complete exercise 1 and then come back and do exercise 2 if necessary.
